Georgia Tech’s 2024 football schedule is out and it’s brutal

With 2023 officially in the books, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets can now look ahead to 2024. The Yellow Jackets built up quite the momentum last season and have a lot of returning players. However, if they look to capitalize on this momentum, they will need to be at their best. Ahead lies a gauntlet for the Yellow Jackets. Lets take a look at the schedule for the Yellow Jackets.

August 24- vs Florida State (in Dublin, Ireland)

August 31- vs Georgia State

September 7- @ Syracuse

September 14- vs Virginia Military Institute

September 21- @ Louisville

October 5- vs Duke

October 12- @ North Carolina

October 19- vs Notre Dame (at Mercedes-Benz Stadium)

October 26- @ Virginia Tech

November 9- vs Miami

November 21- vs NC State (Thursday Night Game)

November 30- @ Georgia

All in all, Georgia Tech will face 11 teams that went to bowl games in 2023. This includes both the match ups against the teams that were in the Orange Bowl last season and a Notre Dame team that could potentially be in the mix for a College Football Playoff berth next season. The road ahead for these Yellow Jackets will be a tough one, but with Brent Key at the helm, they could make some noise in the ACC in 2024

Not counting Fla State the front end is easier, we could be 5&2 or6&1 after seven games. The two bye weeks at the end are close together but it helps getting healthy, extra week to get ready for Miami and NC State and 2 extra days to get ready for Ga. I don’t understand 3 bye weeks even though you are playing in the Zero week.
